Explanation of Latent Heat of Vaporization Water
The amount of energy absorbed or released and phases changes at constant temperature then it is called LH. Latent Heat Equation defines as the amount of energy absorbed or released per unit mass of body. The unit of Latent Heat Formula is kilo joule per kilogram. LH is used for energy transfer into states. It is used for phase transition in which states changes at constant temperature. The physical property will be change but chemical property will be same in all states due to constant temperature. Latent Heat of Fusion Water defines as at low temperature water become freeze into ice in solid form. The molecules of water are loosely packed and when it freezes the molecules will be closely packed. The form of water and its property become same but its physical property is completely changed. The volume of water is indefinite and volume of ice is definite but its size is fixed and shape is confined but water has no shape it depends on container and has no size.
Latent Heat of Vaporization Water has defined as evaporation of water at high temperature. When water boiled at high temperature then it absorbed energy and its physical state change from liquid to gases form. The molecules of vapors are in distributed form and it has no definite volume and no size. When a gases filled in container then it occupy complete volume of container. When we increase temperature but there are no water vapors then humidity of environment become down or low but when we increase temperature and water vapor then humidity become perfect or maintained. The temperature without vapor shows sensible heet and when temperature and water vapors both added then sensible heet and LH both are used in single process. Latent Heat of Steam is defines as the amount of energy required to absorb for boil water at 100®c. Similarly amount of energy required to release for cooling water. The condensation process occur at 100®c also, the amount of energy has been same for both process.
When water placed at low temperature then it becomes freeze at zero temperature and molecules of water closely packed to each other. The density of water becomes low with the states of matter changes. The Latent Heat of Condensation defines by property of water changes into solid or liquid state is converted into solid state.
